Located at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast, The Pines is a private 18 hole championship golf course.  The Pines Golf Course is Australia's only Arnold Palmer signature course and is widely regarded as one of Australia's finest and most challenging courses with an AGU rating of 76. Set on 101 hectares of pine forest, The Pines Golf Course features corridor approaches to several holes and fourteen of the holes challenged by six man-made lakes. The Pines attracts plenty of native Australian wildlife rare birds and Australian kangaroos.

The final hole of The Pines is protected by a water hazard that runs the entire left hand side of the hole whilst along the right side is a wall of tall pine trees that capture many a stray ball. The Pines Gold Course at Santuary Cove runs for 6681metres and is a Par 72.
