What is Gold Coast Gay Day ?

"Gold Coast Gay Day is a not-for-profit event bringing together the lesbian, gay, transgender and bisexual community (LGBT), their families and friends together for a day of live entertainment, positive networking and spectacular fun. Gold Coast Gay Day (GCGD) first appeared at the Firth Park Sporting Complex, Mudgeeraba in 2007. GCGD was not held in 2008 but the success of 2007's GCGD created awareness and recognition of the event with the LGBT community, their families and friends. As a result GCGD again was held at Firth Park Sporting Complex, Mudgeeraba in 2009 successfully & now relocated to Parklands Showgrounds, will be back bigger and better than ever on Sunday 2nd May 2010"
