A Brief Look At Some Popular Gold Coast Theme Parks

The city of Gold Coast in the state of Queensland in Australia is one of the most fun-filled places on Earth. Attracting millions of visitors each year, the city has a myriad of attractions and has a party atmosphere going on every day of the year. One of the main reasons that people visit the town is for the myriad of fabulous Gold Coast Theme Parks that can be found in and around the city.

The first of the theme parks that should be on your list to visit is Sea World. Situated right on the edge of the city close to the sea, visitors to Sea World will find a whole host of fun things to see and do. The park is mainly a marine aquarium with the aim of educating its visitors about conservation as well as rehabilitating injured or sick marine life. Sea World also has a number of exciting, large rides available in the park as well as many smaller rides for younger children.

There is a touch pool and a spacious viewing area where visitors can get up-close-and-personal with some of the most majestic creatures found under the water. In terms of exciting rides, the Viking's Revenge Log Flume and the Sea Viper rollercoaster are some firm favourites.

Another of the Gold Coast Theme Parks worth visiting is the Warner Bros. Movie World. This is an exciting theme park that is filled to the brim with movie-based rides and attractions. Visitors to this park will find activities to suit all ages and it truly makes for a wonderful family day out whilst in the city.

Among the rides to be found at Warner Bros. Movie World are Lethal Weapon - The Ride, the Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster, Yosemite Sam's Railroad and Superman Escape. As well as rides the park has a range of shows including stunts and a 4D adventure show. Younger children will love the All Star Parade which has costumed characters from favourite movies walking alongside colourful movie-themed floats.

For an experience that is slightly different and full of fun, try the Paradise Country Theme Park. Although it does not have rides like the others mentioned, this theme park gives visitors a real taste of what life is like in the Australian Outback. Children will particularly love this park as there are a variety of cute and cuddly animals to see and touch. Visitors can take a farm tour, watch the Stockmen and Sheepdog Show, cuddle a Koala or even ride a camel!

Those who fancy themselves as bit of a cowboy will enjoy the Billy Tea and Stock Horse Arena experience provided by the park. Visitors can relax around a campfire indulging in a traditional Billy Tea whilst the experienced Stockmen show off their whip-cracking skills. This theme park with a twist is one not to be missed for a fun day out with a hint of local culture.

There are many Gold Coast Theme Parks to be found in and around the city, and the ones mentioned above are just a small taste of what lies in store for you when you visit this part of Queensland. No matter what you like doing or how long you are staying in the area for, there is no shortage of theme parks to be enjoyed in this part of the state.
