Discover Gold Coast Theme Parks Family Pass

This Gold Coast theme parks family pass article reviews some of the deals available for families at Sea World, and at other theme parks in Australia's Gold Coast.

Australia's Gold Coast City is in the state of Queensland, between the state capital, Brisbane, and the border with New South Wales. Many holiday makers from other parts of Australia, and from other countries, come to the Gold Coast, to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The Gold Coast has a lot of attractions squeezed into a small area. There are many miles of long, sandy beaches on the Pacific. These are famous throughout the world for surfing.

Gold Coast Theme Park Tickets OnlineInland the Gold Coast hinterland extends up towards the mountains and forests of the Great Dividing Range. These rain forest covered ranges are areas of much natural beauty and scientific interest. This World Heritage Zone contains some of Australia's best known National Parks, for example Lamington, Springbrook and Tamborine Mountain National Parks.

One of the ways in which the Gold Coast caters for families is with some of largest theme parks in Australia. Warner Brothers' Movie World - a movie based theme park, the only one in Australia. Wet'n'Wild Water World - largest water park in Australia, third largest in the world. Sea World - combines a theme park with an oceanarium.

It is possible for families to purchase combination tickets and package deals for entry to these parks. One way to save money on your family's Gold Coast holiday is to buy a package deal combining hotel accommodation and theme park entry tickets. Hotels such as Sea World Resort, in Southport, Gold Coast, often offer special deals such as this. Sea World Resort, which is the nearest hotel to Sea World, caters for families with facilities such as two water play areas, playground, games rooms and Kid's Club.

The Kid's Club at Sea World is good for parents too. Kid's Club provides supervised supper and entertainment every evening for children aged from about four or five, up to twelve. This gives parents a chance to relax on their own.

If you are not buying a combined accommodation/park entry deal, there are other special passes available combining entry to several of the parks. These should work out cheaper than buying individual tickets for different parks.

The Three Park Super Pass allows unlimited entry to Sea World, Wet'n'Wild Water World and Warner Brothers' Movie World over a fourteen day period. The fourteen days start on the day that the first of these parks is visited. The Escape Pass allows entry to two of those three parks over a three day period, and the Fun Pass allows one entry to each of those parks over a five day period.

It is usually recommended that you should prebook your tickets online to avoid the queues when you arrive at the park. If you have already arrived at the Gold Coast you should also be able to prebook theme park passes from your hotel reception, or from a travel agent.
